After trying to start it I've got this message: So I've tried to start the mentioned services only to get a new error message (WWW PS): The mentioned dependency is the other stopped service: ...

Did you ever try VSS 2005 Internet connection? I did once just for testing.
I need it now for real, to connect to a client of mine. The client set everything up and I tried to connect. I tried to connect and got a connection error. This was easy to pinpoint - I opened the web service (VSS uses web services when working over Internet) page in IE7 ...

SpbBackup is my MVP (most valuable program) for PocketPC. To be more precise, a backup application (such as SpbBackup) is a must have for anybody using a PocketPC device.
What is good about it: it backups your data (entire data on PocketPC if you want to) doesn't require ActiveSync to do backups (that's history anyway) supports compression ...

Luckily for me I have Vista Ultimate with two applications I need: Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker. One is for producing movie (you know, cutting, adding titles, effects, transitions and stuff) while the other is for creating ''pure'' DVDs. ...

Over the weekend I've built my new server - yes, the content you are reading right now is served from it. Perhaps more about this new server in another post. Back to the point. Host OS on the server is Windows 2003 R2 x32 and there is also a SQL Server 2005 running there. I've had x64 bit before but it is just too much trouble running it ...

Since I switched to gigabit network some months ago I often saw a lousy network performance against other computers in my local network. It wasn't enough annoying to actually investigate. However, one day I said: enough is enough. Time for an investigation even if I have to loose a day (which I lost).
So I equipped myself with ...
