  • Neverending saga of writing data into Program Files folder

Writing application data into Program Files folder is bad. Period. Only the files at install time should be written to Program Files folder. Otherwise one is facing security issues (i.e. an application could inject code) and practical issues (if one is not an admin then one can't use the application since there are no ...

  • WPF/E at work

I know I am bit late, but nevertheless, if you want to see a nice and cool example of WPF/E driven web pages then you must navigate to www.windowsvista.si. • I'll be co-presenting Windows Power Shell at SLOWUG

Tomorrow (Wednesday) I'll be co-presenting Windows Power Shell with Matjaž Ladava (MS dude) at Slovene Windows Users Group (SLOWUG). It will be quite a challenge talking about cmdlet development to a group of admins. I don't plan die-hard lessons, just a quick overview on how cmdlets and providers are built so they get an impression of what's ...

  • Presumably bigest Slovene MS Office forum

Matjaz, a friend of mine, hosts huge MS Office forum (Slovene language) full of useful answers to common problems (who doesn't have at least one problem with Office?). There is also Q&A section there and plenty of developer information plus some freeware applications.
