Another new year's gift - a dataset visualizer for VS2008. It never expires, too!

Important note:

An updated 0.9.14 version is available from this blog post:

http://blog.rthand.com/post/2009/06/23/Packing-assemblies-to-a-single-file-for-RighthandDatasetVisualizer.aspx

The improvements are that everything is packed into a single dll and you can visualize DataTable directly as well.

nevermind... I was trying to visualize a DataTable, not a dataset, it worked fine. Any way you could simply make a blank dataset and add the table to it so we can visualize individual Datatables as well?

HOW TO INSTALL IT ON VS 2008 SP1 ON WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE ??? Added zip files to folders, restarted studio 10 times. I've tried to add manually files to gac using gacutil. Than i had error for RightHand.DebugerVisualizer.Dataset.Engine.dll and RightHand.DebugerVisualizer.Dataset.Visualizer.dll got this "failed adding assembly to the cache: Attempt to install an assembly without a strong name"... Even after that I'm not able to see option for right hand in dataset visualizer menu... there is only original dataset visualizer .... I have VS2008 Team system SP1 installed... JUST COPING FILES IS NOT WORKING.... PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi guys, Sorry for the problems. You'll find the latest version 0.9.14 in this my blog post http://tinyurl.com/y8oba5w It should work if you place it (Windows 7) in C:\Users\[USER]\Documents\DevExpress\IDE Tools\Community\PlugIns The improvement is that everything is packed into a single dll. Let me know if you experience further problems.
